Beyond Our Shores: The Global Reach of Mexican Drug Cartels and Risks to U.S. National Security

On Wednesday, June 24th at 2:30 p.m. ET in 419 Dirksen Senate Office Building, the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control will hold a hearing titled, “Beyond Our Shores: The Global Reach of Mexican Drug Cartels and Risks to U.S. National Security,” focused on the risks posed by Mexican drug cartels to U.S. national security. The hearing will uncover how cartels and other criminal groups in Mexico are driving the synthetic opioid crisis and human trafficking that continue to infiltrate our communities and kill innocent Americans.
